Why is account verification (KYC) required?

Completing the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification is an important step in complying with global financial regulations and ensuring the security of both the platform and user funds. Once verified, you can:

• Enhance account security: Prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

• Unlock full platform features: Including but not limited to withdrawals and participation in specific events.

• Increase transaction limits: Enjoy higher deposit and withdrawal limits.

What documents are required for account verification?

Before you begin, please prepare the following two types of documents:

1.Valid identity document: Issued by a government authority and within its validity period. Any one of the following:

• Birth Certificate

• Identity Card

• Passport

• Driver’s License

2.Proof of address (issued within the last 3 months): Clearly showing your name and current residential address.

• Utility bill

• Gas bill

• Bank statement

How to start the account verification process?

The verification process can usually be completed within minutes. Please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your DecodeFX account.
2. Go to the top-right corner “ My Profile” and find the “Identity Verification” section.
3. Click “Verify Now” to begin.

What are the detailed steps of verification?

The verification process includes the following stages:

Step 1: Fill in personal information

Provide your full name, date of birth, nationality, and other required details truthfully.

Step 2: Upload identity document

Select your document type and upload the front and back photos. Please ensure that the photos:

• Are complete and clearly visible with all corners shown.

• Have no glare or obstruction and all text is readable.

Step 3: Upload proof of address

Upload your prepared proof of address document. The file can be in JPG, PNG, or PDF format.

Step 4: Complete the questionnaire

As part of compliance requirements, you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire regarding your investment experience and source of funds. This helps the platform fulfill its Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) obligations.

Step 5: Submit and wait for review

After uploading all documents and completing the information, click “Submit.” Our review team typically completes the verification within 1–3 business days.

How can I check my verification status?

After submission, you can return to the “Identity Verification” page anytime to check your current status. It will show as “Under Review,” “Approved,” or “Rejected.”

What if my verification is rejected?

If your application is rejected, don’t worry. You can return to the “Identity Verification” page where the system will clearly indicate the reason (e.g., blurry photo, expired document, invalid proof of address).

Please prepare compliant materials as instructed and resubmit your application.

How long does the verification take?

• Submission process: Most users can complete it within 3–5 minutes.

• Review time: We typically complete reviews within 1–3 business days after submission. During peak periods, it may take slightly longer.
